Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction projects from conception through completion, managing budgets typically ranging from $500K to $10M
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and field teams to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and resolve technical issues
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when needed
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and subcontractors

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction or utility projects
• Proven track record managing projects valued at $1M+
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, and other relevant electrical codes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office Suite

Technical Skills

• Experience with high-voltage systems (69kV and above)
• Familiarity with electrical design software
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and smart grid technologies
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications

Salary Range

$85,000 – $125,000 USD/year, depending on experience and qualifications. This competitive salary is complemented by performance bonuses and project completion incentives.
