About the Role
As our Remote Electrical Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind successful electrical infrastructure deployments across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. You’ll coordinate with field teams, engineers, and stakeholders while managing project timelines, budgets, and compliance from anywhere in the United States.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end electrical project lifecycle from planning through commissioning
- Coordinate with field supervisors, contractors, and engineering teams remotely
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with full P&L responsibility
- Ensure NEC compliance and maintain safety standards across all installations
- Develop and maintain client relationships while exceeding expectations
- Utilize project management software to track progress and generate reports
- Mentor junior project managers and support team growth
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical project management
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proven track record managing projects valued at $1M+
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed (approximately 20%)
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Experience with high-voltage systems (34.5kV and above)
- Background in renewable energy or utility-scale installations
- Familiarity with BIM and CAD electrical design software
Salary & Compensation
$95,000 – $135,000 USD/year depending on experience and qualifications. This role offers competitive base pay plus performance bonuses that can push total compensation significantly higher for top performers.
