About the Role

As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for developing detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for solar, wind, and storage projects. Key Responsibilities

• Create single‑line diagrams, panel schedules, conduit layouts, and lighting plans using AutoCAD Electrical and Revit.
• Perform load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and voltage drop assessments in accordance with NEC and IEC standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical and civil disciplines to resolve clashes and optimize routing.
• Prepare design packages for client review, permitting, and construction issuance.
• Support field teams with RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and as‑built documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies, codes, and best practices in renewable energy electrical design.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or utility‑scale renewable projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, ETAP, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of NEC, IEC, and local utility interconnection requirements.
