About the Role & Your Impact

As a cornerstone of our support services, you will act as a direct caregiver, mentor, and advocate. Working remotely via video conferencing and specialized care platforms, you will guide individuals through routines, teach life skills, facilitate virtual community activities, and collaborate with families and clinical teams. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual one-on-one and small group sessions focused on daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, budgeting), communication, and social skills.
• Develop and implement person-centered support plans in collaboration with case managers and families.
• Provide real-time behavioral support and de-escalation using positive, trauma-informed techniques.
• Accurately document all interactions, progress notes, and incidents in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and clinical consultations to ensure continuity of care.
• Advocate for the individual’s preferences, rights, and community inclusion in all virtual and coordinated activities.

What We’re Looking For: Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of paid experience as a Direct Support Professional, Personal Care Aide, or in a similar human services role, with at least 6 months of experience in a virtual/remote support setting.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for occasional in-person meetings (if local to the individual) or for required training sessions.
• Active certification in First Aid/CPR and ability to obtain (or current) CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or similar de-escalation certification.
• Proficient with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams), basic computer skills, and secure digital documentation.
• Must pass comprehensive background checks, including criminal history and child/adult protective services checks.
• Resident of the United States. This role is open to residents of all states, with a preference for those in Eastern and Central time zones for scheduling alignment.

Salary Range

Estimated Annual Salary: $35,000 – $52,000 USD
Final compensation is determined by experience, certifications, geographic location (for state-specific pay scales), and performance. This range reflects our commitment to fair, competitive pay for this critical role.
