As a Remote Dental Hygienist with SmileCare Telehealth, you become a crucial first point of contact for our patients. You will utilize our proprietary, HIPAA-compliant platform to perform comprehensive oral health screenings, gather detailed patient histories, identify potential issues, and provide tailored preventive advice and hygiene instructions. Your expert assessment helps determine the necessity for in-person referrals, ensuring patients get the right care at the right time. What We’re Looking For: Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Credentials & Experience

• Active Dental Hygiene License: Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice in at least one U.S. state. Multi-state licensure is a significant advantage and we support the process for additional states.
• Graduate of an Accredited Program: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from a CODA-accredited institution.
• Proven Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on dental hygiene experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Professional Liability Insurance: Must be able to provide proof of current malpractice insurance (we offer a group policy option).

Your Home Office Setup

You are responsible for establishing a dedicated, professional, and HIPAA-compliant workspace. This includes a reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload), a modern computer with a high-definition webcam and microphone, and a quiet, private room for consultations. We provide a monthly stipend to cover a portion of your internet and utility costs.

Competitive Salary & Compensation Package

We believe in fair and transparent compensation that reflects your skill and impact. For this full-time remote position (40 hours/week), we offer a highly competitive base salary range of $58,000 – $82,000 USD annually, commensurate with your experience, license portfolio (number of states), and clinical expertise. Additionally, you are eligible for a quarterly performance bonus based on patient satisfaction scores and productivity metrics. This role is classified as an exempt, salaried position.
