About the Role

As a Remote Data Scientist at InnovateTech Solutions, you will be a core member of our cross-functional product team. You will transition from exploratory analysis to production-ready solutions, building robust data pipelines and predictive models that solve real business problems. Your primary mission is to transform raw data into actionable intelligence, providing the insights that fuel our growth and enhance user experiences for millions of customers. This is not a siloed analytics role; you will be deeply embedded in product development, collaborating directly with engineering, product management, and business leadership.

Your Day-to-Day Impact:

• Design, build, and validate scalable machine learning models for personalization, forecasting, and recommendation systems.
• Develop and maintain efficient, reliable data pipelines using modern tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, dbt) to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Conduct rigorous A/B testing and causal inference to measure the impact of new features and guide product strategy.
• Create clear, compelling data visualizations and executive summaries that communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and prototyping with new algorithms and technologies relevant to our domain.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

We seek a curious, pragmatic, and collaborative data scientist who thrives in a remote, asynchronous environment. You are as comfortable writing clean, production-grade Python code as you are presenting a nuanced finding to the executive team.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a data science or machine learning engineering role, with a portfolio of shipped projects.
• Expert proficiency in Python and core data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong experience with SQL and working with large-scale relational or columnar databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Demonstrable experience building and deploying ML models into production environments.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, experimental design (A/B testing), and causal inference.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tell a story with data.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML services (SageMaker, Vertex AI).
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for NLP or computer vision tasks.
• Previous experience in a high-growth SaaS or e-commerce environment.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in fair, transparent, and competitive compensation. The estimated base salary range for this position is $95,000 – $160,000 USD/year, determined by your experience, expertise, and geographic market. Final compensation may include additional components such as annual bonus and equity (RSUs) grants.
