About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing blueprints and specifications, and collaborating with project managers and field teams to ensure competitive and profitable bids. You will work remotely, utilizing state-of-the-art estimation software and communication tools to deliver exceptional results for residential and commercial projects ranging from $500K to $50M.

What You’ll Do

• Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope requirements
• Prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates using industry-standard software
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and apply appropriate pricing to each line item
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and trade partners
• Present estimates to senior leadership and participate in bid strategy discussions
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within each project estimate
• Continuously improve estimation processes and contribute to team knowledge base

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of construction estimating experience
• Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Proven track record of successfully estimating commercial and/or residential projects
• Experience with construction management software (Procore, Sage, or similar platforms)

Skills & Abilities

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
