About the Role

As a key member of our global Solutions Architecture team, you will own the end-to-end cloud design lifecycle. You will move beyond theoretical diagrams to hands-on guidance, ensuring our clients’ migrations, modernizations, and new builds are architecturally sound, secure, and optimized for performance and cost. Your expertise will empower our client engineering teams and build trust with C-level executives. Core Responsibilities

• Design & Governance: Create detailed cloud architecture patterns, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps aligned with client business goals and the Well-Architected Framework.
• Technical Leadership: Lead proof-of-concept projects, cloud migration waves, and modernization initiatives. Provide deep-dive troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Client & Team Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients and internal project teams. Conduct workshops, present to stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers and developers.
• Cost & Security Optimization: Continuously analyze and recommend strategies for cloud cost management (FinOps) and enforce security best practices (DevSecOps) across all proposed solutions.
• Innovation & Advocacy: Stay ahead of cloud trends (serverless, containers, AI/ML services) and advocate for new services or patterns that deliver competitive advantage.

Requirements

We are looking for a proven architect with a balance of deep technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. You must be comfortable in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Certifications: Must hold at least one of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Hands-On Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing production workloads on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with multi-cloud strategies is a strong plus.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Networking & Security: Deep understanding of VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity (VPN/Direct Connect/ExpressRoute), IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Modern Architecture: Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE), microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless computing.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving and leadership mindset.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with data engineering platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), big data (Hadoop/Spark), or AI/ML services.
• Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a technical blog.

Salary & Compensation

We believe in transparent and competitive compensation. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $130,000 – $170,000 USD per year, determined by your experience, certifications, and geographic market. Final compensation will include a base salary plus a performance-based annual bonus and eligibility for a company equity/profit-sharing plan.
