Lead a pioneering telehealth practice from your home office, providing critical mental health care to patients across the nation. This fully remote role offers unparalleled flexibility and the profound satisfaction of making evidence-based therapy accessible to those who need it most, all while building a sustainable, rewarding career.

About the Role

As a Remote Clinical Psychologist, you will serve as a cornerstone of our growing virtual mental health clinic. You will conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population via our secure HIPAA-compliant platform. Your day will involve a balanced caseload of evidence-based individual therapy, potentially including group sessions and clinical supervision if you hold a psychology license that permits it. This role is 100% remote, requiring only a quiet, professional workspace and a reliable high-speed internet connection. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, licensed therapists, and care coordinators, all dedicated to a patient-centered model of care. Your expertise will directly influence treatment protocols and contribute to our mission of destigmatizing mental health care through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessments and formulate accurate DSM-5 diagnoses.
  • Deliver individual psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, or other evidence-based modalities) to adults and/or adolescents.
  • Develop and implement actionable, measurable treatment plans with patient goals.
  • Maintain meticulous, timely clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Participate in weekly team case consultations and clinical meetings.
  • Adhere strictly to all ethical guidelines, state licensure regulations, and telehealth best practices.

Requirements

We seek a compassionate, clinically astute professional ready for the nuances of remote practice. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and possesses exceptional communication skills.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Active License: Current, unrestrictedlicensed clinical psychologist license in at least one U.S. state. Ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses is highly desirable and supported.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a direct patient care setting.
  • Teletherapy Proficiency: Demonstrated experience providing effective therapy via video conferencing, including ability to build rapport and manage crisis situations remotely.
  • Credentials: PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Malpractice: Current individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).

Preferred Attributes

  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
  • Experience with specific populations (e.g., trauma survivors, LGBTQ+, chronic illness).
  • Familiarity with our EHR system (e.g., SimplePractice, TherapyNotes) or similar.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, startup or scaling telehealth environment.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in compensating top talent competitively and transparently. This is a full-time, 1099 independent contractor position with the potential for W-2 conversion based on volume and mutual interest.

Salary Range

$85,000 – $110,000 USD/year (based on full-time caseload of 25-30 patient hours/week, experience, and licensed states). Compensation is fee-for-service, with rates per patient session detailed during the interview process. There is significant earning potential as your patient panel grows.

Comprehensive Benefits Package

  • True Flexibility: Design your own schedule. No nights or weekends required unless you choose.
  • Professional Growth: Annual stipend for continuing education, conferences, and licensure maintenance.
  • Technology Support: Company-provided or stipend for necessary equipment (headset, webcam, software).
  • Clinical Support: Access to peer consultation groups and administrative support for scheduling and billing.
  • Health & Wellness: Optional health insurance stipend, dental/vision options, and a generous PTO policy.
  • Impact: Be an early contributor in a mission-driven company focused on equitable mental health access.

Our Commitment to You

We are building a practice that values clinical excellence as much as clinician well-being. We provide the infrastructure—the platform, the patients, the billing support—so you can focus on what you do best: provide exceptional care. You will join a respectful, collaborative community of professionals who believe that remote work is the future of sustainable, high-quality mental health services. If you are a licensed psychologist seeking autonomy without isolation, and a role where your clinical judgment is trusted and valued, this is your opportunity.
