About the Role

As a Remote Attorney, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal counsel across multiple domains including corporate law, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. You will work directly with executive leadership to mitigate legal risks and drive strategic initiatives that support our company’s rapid growth and expansion into new markets.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert legal guidance on corporate governance, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships
• Advise on data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and other international compliance frameworks
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, licensing deals, and service contracts
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the technology sector and recommend proactive measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal alignment on product development and marketing initiatives
• Manage intellectual property portfolio including trademarks, copyrights, and patent coordination
• Lead internal legal training sessions and develop standardized contract templates and policies

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology, startup, or digital media sectors
• Strong working knowledge of data privacy laws, consumer protection regulations, and e-commerce legal frameworks
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a business-oriented mindset
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SaaS, cloud computing, or fintech legal matters is highly preferred

Salary Range

The annual salary for this Remote Attorney position ranges from $120,000 to $175,000 USD.
