About the Role

As a Remote Attorney, you will partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to safeguard the company’s interests and ensure adherence to all applicable laws. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, advising on intellectual property protection, managing litigation risks, and guiding compliance with data privacy and security regulations. You will also mentor junior legal staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of our legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of contracts, including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership arrangements.
• Provide proactive legal advice on corporate governance, employment law, and regulatory matters affecting the business.
• Conduct legal research and stay current with emerging legislation that impacts the technology sector.
• Assist in the management of disputes, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for internal stakeholders on legal compliance and risk mitigation.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising activities by conducting due diligence and preparing transaction documents.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an attorney, preferably with a focus on technology, intellectual property, or commercial contracts.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements with strong attention to detail.

Salary Range
