About the Role

As our Assistant General Manager, you will be the right hand to the General Manager, ensuring seamless execution of all restaurant operations. You’ll manage daily store activities, develop and mentor frontline staff, implement customer service initiatives, and collaborate closely with the GM to achieve sales, cost, and guest satisfaction targets. This role demands a proactive leader capable of making sound decisions and driving performance in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute strategies to boost sales, control costs, and improve overall profitability.
• Monitor and maintain food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all health regulations.
• Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and labor metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on marketing initiatives and community engagement.
• Resolve customer complaints effectively and maintain a positive brand image.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, ideally as an Assistant Manager or Shift Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, inventory control, and labor forecasting.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with restaurant management software and POS systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for occasional store visits.
