We are seeking a visionary Remote AI Engineer to pioneer intelligent systems that solve complex, real-world problems. In this fully remote role, you will have the autonomy to research, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning models, directly impacting our core products and strategic roadmap from your home office.

About the Role

As a key member of our AI division, you will transition theoretical AI advancements into robust, production-grade applications. Your work will involve the full ML lifecycle—from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, optimization, and scalable deployment using cloud-native technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to define AI strategy and deliver tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines and deep learning architectures.
• Develop and optimize models for performance, accuracy, and latency in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Implement MLOps practices for continuous integration, testing, and monitoring of AI systems.
• Research and prototype novel approaches in areas like Large Language Models (LLMs), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in Python, leveraging frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our internal knowledge base and best practices.

Salary Range

We offer a highly competitive and equitable compensation package for this critical role. The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $180,000 USD/year, determined by your experience, technical expertise, and the unique value you bring. This role is also eligible for a performance-based annual bonus and a comprehensive equity grant, ensuring you share in the company’s success.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Expert proficiency in Python and core ML/DL libraries (NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Strong software engineering skills: data structures, algorithms, system design, and version control (Git).
• In-depth experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• PhD in an AI-related field.
• Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and frameworks like LangChain.
• Familiarity with big data processing tools (Spark, Dask, Kafka).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools specific to ML systems (MLflow, Evidently, Kubeflow).
