About the Role: The Heart of Critical Care

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will manage complex, unstable patients requiring constant monitoring and life-sustaining interventions. You will work within a dedicated, multidisciplinary team in our 24-bed state-of-the-art Cardiovascular and Medical Intensive Care Unit. Your day involves titrating vasoactive medications, managing ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (including PiCCO and Vigileo), and providing holistic, family-centered care. We prioritize a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure you can deliver the intensive, attentive care our patients deserve. Core Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and rapid interventions for critically ill adult patients.
• Administer and monitor advanced therapies, including mechanical ventilation, CRRT, and IABP.
• Collaborate with intensivists, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team to develop and execute dynamic care plans.
• Utilize Epic electronic health record for precise documentation and communication.
• Act as a clinical resource and preceptor for new nurses and float staff.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

• Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience, certifications, and market data.

Requirements: Are You the Right Fit?

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or actively enrolled in a BSN program (completion within 3 years of hire).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital nursing experience required. ICU experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
• Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical ventilation.
• Strong IV and medication administration skills in a high-stress environment.
