About the Role: Be Your Own Boss, Without the Isolation

As an Owner-Operator Driver with our team, you operate as an independent contractor but with the resources of a major fleet. You’ll be assigned to dedicated or regional routes primarily originating from our Chicago hub, ensuring you’re home regularly while minimizing deadhead miles. We handle the customer relationships, the booking, and the paperwork for premium freight—you focus on safe, efficient driving and growing your bottom line. This role is designed for drivers who want the autonomy of ownership paired with the stability of a guaranteed work stream.

Requirements: We’re Looking for Professional Partners

This opportunity is for established owner-operators, not new drivers. We require a proven track record of safety and reliability.

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) or dedicated route experience.
• Proof of current insurance meeting our minimum liability requirements ($1M cargo, $1M liability).
• Your own late-model, well-maintained tractor (dry van or flatbed experience a plus).
• Must possess a valid MC Number (Motor Carrier authority) or be willing to operate under our authority.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive DOT physical and drug screen.

Compensation & Financial Overview

Your revenue is based on a percentage of the load pay or a competitive per-mile rate, plus fuel surcharges. We are transparent about costs so you can accurately project your net income.

Estimated Net Income Range:

Based on current market rates for our freight lanes and a typical 10,000-12,000 monthly mileage volume for a dedicated driver, experienced owner-operators can expect a net income (after all truck expenses) in the range of $150,000 – $200,000+ USD per year. Your actual earnings are directly influenced by your mileage, fuel efficiency, and expense management.
