Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take vital signs and document patient information
• Assist physicians with examinations and treatments
• Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs
• Administer injections as directed by physicians
• Maintain examination rooms and equipment
• Manage electronic health records with precision
• Schedule appointments and handle patient communications

Requirements

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
