Job Overview
MongoDB is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Replication & Storage Engines in Grand Central, Manhattan, US. You will own strategy and execution for the core Replication and WiredTiger Storage Engine layers that power MongoDB’s durability, availability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, roadmap, and go‑to‑market strategy for Replication and Storage Engine components.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, data science, and sales to translate customer needs into feature specifications.
- Prioritize backlog, manage releases, and ensure timely delivery of high‑impact features.
- Gather market intelligence, conduct competitive analysis, and represent MongoDB at customer meetings, conferences, and webinars.
- Drive metrics for reliability, latency, and scalability; use data to iterate on product improvements.
- Partner with support and professional services to address mission‑critical workload challenges.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in database, distributed systems, or storage technologies.
- Deep technical understanding of replication protocols, consensus algorithms, and storage engine architecture (e.g., WiredTiger).
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high‑visibility products to enterprise customers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data‑driven decision making.

Base salary: $224,054.58 per year.
