About the Role

As a Freight, Stock, and Material Mover, you will be the backbone of our inventory management. Your primary responsibility will involve the safe and efficient movement of freight, stock, and materials within our Chicago facility and between designated locations. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting goods using various equipment like hand trucks, forklifts (training provided), and pallet jacks. You will meticulously follow inventory procedures, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure all materials are stored correctly and securely. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs unassisted) and stand/walk for extended periods
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable transportation to and from work in Chicago
