About the Role & Your Impact
As our Field Marketing Representative, you will be the primary ambassador for our portfolio of dynamic consumer brands within your assigned territory. You will plan, execute, and measure the success of grassroots marketing initiatives, from pop-up events and sampling programs to local partnership activations and retail support. Your mission is to create memorable, authentic experiences that convert interest into loyalty and sales. You will report directly to the Regional Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the central marketing, sales, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Hyper-Local Campaigns: Plan and flawlessly implement field marketing events, product samplings, and promotional activities in high-traffic venues, retailers, and community hubs across Austin.
- Build Community Bridges: Develop and nurture relationships with local influencers, community leaders, venue managers, and retail partners to secure prime opportunities and amplify brand reach.
- Be the Brand Expert: Engage consumers with passionate, knowledgeable product demonstrations and conversations that educate and excite.
- Track & Report Real-Time: Meticulously track campaign logistics, inventory, consumer feedback, and sales lift using mobile apps and CRM tools. Provide actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
- Manage Budgets & Assets: Responsible for accurate event budgeting, procurement of promotional materials, and maintenance of all brand assets and demo kits.
- Competitive Intelligence: Act as our eyes and ears on the ground, reporting on competitor activities, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
What You Bring (Requirements)
We are looking for a self-starter with a hunter mentality and a service heart. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: 2+ years in field marketing, brand ambassador roles, promotional modeling, event marketing, or retail sales. Proven experience meeting and exceeding quantitative and qualitative goals.
- Innate Charisma: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You can command a room, build rapport instantly, and tell a compelling brand story.
- Logistical Mastery: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple event projects, budgets, and logistics simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with smartphones, mobile apps, and basic CRM/data entry. Comfortable learning new technologies quickly.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for travel throughout the Austin metropolitan area.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings, which is standard for field marketing success.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in rewarding outstanding performance. For this role in Austin, we offer a competitive compensation package:
- Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience.
