Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for diverse construction projects using blueprints, specifications, and industry data.
• Research material costs, labor rates, equipment rentals, and subcontractor quotes to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids.
• Analyze project timelines and potential risks to forecast potential cost overruns and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify requirements and refine estimates.
• Utilize estimating software and databases to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in construction principles and a passion for precision. Proven experience in construction estimating is essential.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role.
• Proven expertise in developing detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for commercial or residential projects.
• Advanced proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and current market pricing.
• Exceptional analytical skills, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong remote collaboration skills and ability to manage time effectively in a self-directed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
