About the Role & Our Mission

As a Clinical Psychologist at our Manhattan clinic, you will serve as a cornerstone of our treatment team. You will manage a full caseload of clients, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care. Beyond direct clinical work, this role involves participating in case consultations, contributing to program development, and potentially supervising pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows. We foster a collaborative culture where clinical curiosity and professional growth are actively supported.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Deliver individual, group, and potentially family therapy to adults and/or adolescents.
• Maintain meticulous, timely clinical documentation in accordance with best practices and insurance standards.
• Engage in weekly team meetings and peer supervision sessions.
• Participate in community outreach and practice development initiatives.
• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, NYS licensing).

Qualifications & Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated professional who meets the following criteria:

• Education: Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York State. License must be current and in good standing.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a community mental health, hospital, or private practice setting. Experience with diverse populations is highly valued.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in multiple therapeutic orientations and strong diagnostic skills (experience with DSM-5). Experience with psychological testing is a plus but not required.
• Interpersonal: Excellent communication, empathy, and the ability to build strong therapeutic alliances. A team-oriented mindset is essential.

Salary Range

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $85,000 to $120,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience, license seniority, and clinical specialization. This role may also include a potential productivity-based bonus structure.
