About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and oversight of municipal and private development projects across the Seattle metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will translate complex engineering concepts into practical solutions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and sustainability goals. Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, conducting site analyses, managing project schedules, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review civil engineering designs for roads, bridges, stormwater systems, and utilities.
• Perform feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and cost estimations.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS tools.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and supervise subcontractors to maintain quality standards.
• Liaise with permitting agencies, stakeholders, and the public to address concerns and ensure project alignment.

Salary Range

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $58,000 to $78,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil design and construction management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS mapping software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required project permits and approvals.
