About the Role

As our Cashier, you are the frontline ambassador for our brand. Your primary responsibility is to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. This involves handling cash, credit, and debit payments, issuing refunds, processing returns, and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area. You’ll need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues calmly and professionally. Key Responsibilities

• Process all customer transactions accurately and promptly using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, debit, and mobile payment transactions securely and in accordance with company policy.
• Process returns and refunds according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve any concerns or complaints professionally.
• Perform basic inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to all company safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer-facing role (1+ years preferred).
• Proven ability to handle cash accurately and manage transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
