About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at the heart of New York’s luxury hospitality scene. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating all hotel operations (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing, Maintenance).
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitor revenue and expense performance, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Lead, train, and develop departmental managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards, company policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement operational efficiencies and cost-saving measures.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams and external vendors as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role (e.g., Assistant Manager, Operations Manager).
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar P&L budgets and driving operational improvements.
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations, revenue management principles, and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
