About the Role

You will join our elite Center of Excellence, working directly with C-suite executives and product teams at industry-leading companies. Your mission is to conduct deep diagnostic assessments, prototype novel AI applications, and create roadmaps for intelligent transformation. You will be the trusted expert who identifies high-impact opportunities—from optimizing supply chains with reinforcement learning to building next-gen customer service agents with large language models—and guides the technical execution to fruition.

This is a hybrid consulting role based in our San Francisco office, with 50% travel to client sites across North America. You will report to the Head of AI Strategy and collaborate with our data scientists, engineers, and change management specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Uncover and prioritize AI use cases through stakeholder workshops and data analysis.
• Design robust technical architectures for ML pipelines, ensuring scalability, security, and ethical AI compliance.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and minimum viable products to demonstrate feasibility and value.
• Create compelling business cases and ROI models to secure executive buy-in for AI initiatives.
• Mentor client technical teams and oversee knowledge transfer for sustainable adoption.
• Stay at the forefront of AI research, translating advancements like agentic AI and multimodal learning into client strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a client-facing consulting or solutions architecture role.
• Proven track record of delivering and scaling at least three enterprise AI projects (e.g., NLP systems, computer vision, predictive forecasting).
• Deep expertise in cloud AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI) and MLOps practices.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).
• Exceptional communication skills: ability to explain complex algorithms to non-technical audiences and write executive summaries.

Preferred Attributes

• MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
• Experience in high-stakes industries like finance, healthcare, or logistics.
• Familiarity with data governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI frameworks.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $190,000 USD annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and market location. This role is also eligible for a significant annual performance bonus tied to project success and client satisfaction.
