About the Role

As a Remote Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and assembling comprehensive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with estimators, engineers, and procurement teams to validate assumptions, adjust for market fluctuations, and deliver bid packages that meet client expectations and company profitability targets. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with industry‑standard estimating software, and the ability to communicate complex cost data clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing construction estimates for commercial or residential projects.
• Proven track record of producing accurate, detailed estimates that consistently win bids.

Technical Skills

• Expertise with estimating platforms such as Sage Estimating, ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools).
• Familiarity with construction documents, CSI MasterFormat, and standard cost databases (RSMeans, Builder’s Guide).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
