About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen our security posture and protect our organization’s digital assets. As a key member of our IT security team, you’ll work remotely from the comfort of your home office while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools and advanced threat detection systems
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate breach containment efforts
• Perform regular security audits and compliance checks
• Educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and safe computing practices
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and defense technologies
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure secure architecture design

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Qualys, or similar)
• Understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of malware analysis and reverse engineering
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) preferred
• Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM preferred

Salary Range & Benefits

Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
