About the Role

We’re seeking an empathetic, proactive, and highly organized Direct Support Professional (DSP) to partner with clients living at home, in group homes, or in community settings. Working remotely, you’ll use virtual tools—video calls, messaging platforms, and electronic health records—to coordinate care plans, track progress, and communicate with multidisciplinary teams. Your daily mission: help clients achieve their personal goals, whether that’s mastering new skills, staying safe, or simply enjoying a day of fun.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized support plans aligned with each client’s goals.
• Facilitate skill-building activities—life skills, social interactions, and recreational pursuits—using virtual or in‑home methods.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time documentation in our secure cloud platform.
• Collaborate with therapists, family members, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, coordinating with on‑site staff as needed.
• Advocate for client needs, ensuring respectful, person‑centered decision‑making.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing support to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—across diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Google Workspace).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps).
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Salary Range

$45,000 – $65,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and education. Remote work eliminates commuting costs, allowing you to allocate more of your earnings toward your personal and professional goals.
