• Prepare detailed, fact-based narrative reports that adhere to strict legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure strict compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and all relevant data protection laws.
• Collaborate closely with legal and human resources departments to provide context and clarification as needed.
• Maintain meticulous records of all investigations and adhere to established security protocols to protect sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Law, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in background screening, investigations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing online research tools, public records databases, and investigative software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
• Strong ethical judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced internet research capabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record may be required for certain client-specific investigations.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

This position offers a highly competitive salary range of $55,000 to $75,000 USD per year, reflecting the level of expertise and responsibility required. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and performance-based bonuses may be available. Additionally, a one-time signing bonus may be offered to the right candidate.
