About the Role

As a Remote Cloud Solutions Architect, you will not just be managing servers; you will be the primary architect of innovation. Your day-to-day will involve deep-diving into microservices architectures, automating infrastructure through code, and ensuring that every deployment is resilient, cost-effective, and highly available. You will collaborate with cross-functional DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure that our cloud footprint is not only robust but also future-proofed against the evolving technological landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead the migration of legacy on-premise workloads to modern, cloud-native architectures.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, ensuring all cloud architectures meet rigorous compliance standards.
• Optimize cloud spend by implementing advanced monitoring, cost-allocation strategies, and resource rightsizing.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Salary Range

$145,000 – $195,000 USD per year (Commensurate with experience and technical expertise)

Requirements

We are looking for a high-level strategist who possesses both deep technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. To thrive in this remote role, you must be a self-starter with exceptional time-management skills.

Technical Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years specifically focused on Cloud Architecture.
• Proven expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with professional-level certifications.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including VPCs, DNS, Load Balancing, and VPN connectivity.
