About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Conduct risk analysis to determine project feasibility and potential challenges
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software
• Present estimates to stakeholders and provide recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with Florida construction codes and regulations

Salary Range

Based on industry standards, the salary range for this position is approximately $55,000 – $75,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
