About the Role

The Remote Director of Clinical Services will be the cornerstone of our telehealth platform, overseeing all clinical functions across the United States. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will design and execute clinical strategies, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and champion evidence‑based practices that improve patient outcomes. This is a fully remote, leadership‑level position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the country while influencing a national network of providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical protocols, pathways, and quality metrics for virtual care.
• Lead, mentor, and expand a geographically dispersed team of physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and support staff.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data analytics teams to integrate clinical insights into platform enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state licensure laws, and accreditation standards (e.g., NCQA, URAC).
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and provider efficiency; drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, webinars, and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field; Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or MD preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive clinical leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a telehealth or remote‑care environment.
• Demonstrated success managing multi‑state clinical operations and licensing complexities.
• Strong knowledge of telemedicine technology, EHR integration, and data‑driven quality improvement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and align remote teams.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Asana) and analytics platforms.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to travel occasionally for virtual leadership summits.
