About the Role

As a Remote Substance Abuse Counselor, you will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support to clients struggling with substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Education and Licensure

• Active, unrestricted license in Substance Abuse Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling within the state of Florida.
• Proof of current malpractice insurance.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals with substance use disorders.
• Proven experience in group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC).
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote counseling.
