About the Role & Our Mission

As a Remote Software Engineer at TechInnovate Inc., you will be a pivotal member of our product engineering team. You’ll design, develop, and deploy robust, high-performance features for our core SaaS platform, which serves over 500,000 users. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend services and APIs using modern frameworks (primarily Python/Django or Node.js).
• Collaborate with product managers and designers in a flat hierarchy to translate user stories into technical specifications and shippable products.
• Champion code quality through writing comprehensive tests, participating in peer code reviews, and advocating for best practices.
• Own your services from development through deployment, monitoring, and iteration using our AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Proactively identify technical debt and system vulnerabilities, proposing innovative solutions to improve performance and reliability.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Essential Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
• Mastery of at least one major language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#) and its associated ecosystem.
• Proven experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) databases.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expert proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

• Experience with front-end technologies (React, Vue.js) for full-stack versatility.

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we offer a salary range of $95,000 – $140,000 USD/year, determined by your experience, expertise, and geographic market nuances.
