About the Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be the critical bridge between our clients’ business challenges and innovative cloud-based solutions. You will own the end-to-end architecture lifecycle—from initial discovery and design to deployment guidance and operational excellence. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and C-level executives to translate business goals into technical blueprints that leverage the best of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Your work will ensure our solutions are not only performant and cost-effective but also secure, compliant, and built for long-term evolution.

A Day in Your Cloud

• Collaborate with sales and engineering leads to scope complex cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Design detailed infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Lead architecture review sessions, presenting clear, compelling solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create detailed documentation, reference architectures, and best practice guides.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide expert-level troubleshooting for escalated cloud incidents.
• Stay ahead of cloud service innovations and evaluate their applicability to our client portfolio.

Requirements & Expertise

We need a seasoned professional with a proven track record. The ideal candidate is a passionate technologist and a clear communicator.

Essential Experience

• 7+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 4+ years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Deep, hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable).
• Mastery of core services: compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and serverless paradigms.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices patterns.
• Expert knowledge of cloud security frameworks (IAM, encryption, compliance standards like SOC2, ISO27001).
• Proven ability to estimate costs, optimize cloud spend, and implement FinOps practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.

Salary Range

$140,000 – $200,000 USD/year (Final offer based on experience, proven impact, and geographic market factors). This role is eligible for a performance-based bonus and a long-term incentive plan.
