About the Role

As an Operations Research Analyst at DataWave Analytics, you will apply advanced mathematical modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis to deliver actionable recommendations for our clients. Your work will directly influence production planning, transportation logistics, inventory control, and resource allocation across multiple industries, including manufacturing, retail, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate mathematical models (linear programming, integer programming, and stochastic optimization) to solve complex operational problems.
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and R, ensuring data integrity and reproducibility.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, concise visualizations and executive‑level presentations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, domain experts, and client stakeholders to refine problem statements and design solution roadmaps.
• Stay current with the latest research in operations research, machine learning, and AI, and assess their applicability to client challenges.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of industry experience in operations research, analytics, or a quantitative consulting role.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy) or R.
