About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our remote-first team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex electrical projects. You will lead cross-functional teams (including engineers, technicians, and contractors), manage project budgets and timelines, ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and project specifications, and provide strategic direction to achieve project goals efficiently and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical projects.

Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams (internal and external) to meet project objectives.

Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services related to electrical projects.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure all project activities comply with relevant electrical codes, safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E), and company policies.

Prepare and present regular project status reports and presentations.

Manage project documentation and change orders effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Construction, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.

Proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects from conception to completion.
*

Extensive knowledge of electrical codes (NEC), safety standards, and industry best practices.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence diverse teams remotely.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira) and MS Office Suite.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
