About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be the frontline defender of our clients’ digital assets. Working entirely remotely, you’ll monitor networks, analyze security events, and respond to incidents in real time. Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor SIEM and IDS/IPS alerts for suspicious activity, prioritizing alerts based on risk severity.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and internal networks.
• Develop, test, and maintain incident response playbooks; lead forensic investigations and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Implement and tune security controls such as next‑generation firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and multi‑factor authentication (MFA).
• Produce clear, concise security reports for technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including executive briefings.
• Stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices through ongoing training, certifications, and conference participation.
• Assist in security awareness programs, educating employees on phishing, social engineering, and safe online habits via workshops and simulated attacks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure software delivery.
• Participate in red‑team/blue‑team exercises to validate defenses and improve detection capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or incident response.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
