About the Role

As our Health Data Analyst, you will be the vital link between raw healthcare data and strategic decision-making. You’ll design, develop, and maintain robust data models and analytical frameworks to extract meaningful patterns from vast datasets encompassing electronic health records, clinical trials, claims data, and operational metrics. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize SQL databases and data warehouses to store and manage large-scale healthcare datasets.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining to uncover trends, correlations, and anomalies within complex health data.
• Develop and automate reporting dashboards and visualizations (using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to communicate findings clearly to clinical and administrative stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with clinical research teams, data scientists, and healthcare providers to define data requirements and validate analytical outputs.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards in all data handling and analysis activities.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in health data analysis, clinical data management, or a similar quantitative role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., ETL processes, dimensional modeling).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and familiarity with EHR systems is highly desirable.
