About the Role

As a Remote Information Security Analyst, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats targeting our network, applications, and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and conduct rapid triage of incidents.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis on on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and incident‑response playbooks aligned with NIST and ISO 27001.
• Provide actionable recommendations to remediate findings and improve the overall security posture.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding practices and conduct regular code reviews.
• Prepare concise executive reports and dashboards that translate technical risk into business impact.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in information security, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection & response (EDR) solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated compliance frameworks.
