About the Role

You are not just an investor; you are a architect of growth. In this pivotal remote position, you will own the end-to-end investment process for a dedicated sector or geography within our fund. From sourcing proprietary deals and leading rigorous due diligence to negotiating term sheets and actively guiding portfolio CEOs, your expertise directly fuels our success and the founders we back. You will report directly to the Managing Partners and be a key voice in shaping fund strategy.

Core Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and close 4-6 new investments per year, focusing on Seed to Series A stages in enterprise SaaS, AI, or fintech.
• Lead deep due diligence on technology, market, team, and financials, building complex financial models and investment memos.
• Negotiate investment terms and serve as a primary board observer or director for 3-5 portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance on hiring, product, and go-to-market.
• Manage portfolio relationships, identify follow-on opportunities, and develop exit strategies.
• Contribute to the firm’s brand through content, speaking engagements, and network building within the global startup ecosystem.

Who You Are: The Requirements

This is a role for a proven professional with a decade of experience at the intersection of technology and finance. We value operational insight as much as financial acumen.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Proven Track Record: 8+ years in venture capital, growth equity, or a relevant operational role (e.g., founder, executive at a tech startup) with a demonstrable history of sourcing and managing investments.
• Deep Sector Expertise: Intimate knowledge of one or more of our focus areas (AI/ML, B2B SaaS, Fintech Infrastructure). You can debate technical architecture and business models with founders.
• Deal Fluency: Mastery of financial modeling, capitalization tables, and term sheet negotiation. Experience with complex legal documentation is a plus.
• Founder-Minded: Exceptional ability to assess founder-market fit, coach CEOs, and build trust at the board level. You are a partner, not just a financier.
• Network & Grit: A robust, active network of founders, angels, and co-investors. The resilience to source deals in a competitive landscape and the intellectual curiosity to learn new sectors quickly.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range & Carry

Base Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience.

Variable Compensation: Significant performance bonus tied to investment exits and fund performance.

Equity (Carried Interest): A meaningful share of the fund’s profits (carry), offering the potential for life-changing wealth creation aligned with your investment success.
