About the Role

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across our client‑facing platforms. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and executive leadership to assess risk, respond to incidents, and continuously improve our security posture in a fully remote environment. The role involves close interaction with clients to understand their unique security challenges and deliver tailored protection strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to uncover weaknesses before they can be exploited. Develop, enforce, and continuously refine security policies that align with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Operate and troubleshoot SIEM platforms, endpoint detection tools, and threat‑intelligence feeds to detect and mitigate threats in real time. Lead incident response efforts, perform forensic analysis, and produce clear post‑incident reports for stakeholders. Educate internal teams on secure coding practices, phishing awareness, and other best‑in‑class security hygiene.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related discipline. 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in information security, with proven expertise in threat detection, risk mitigation, and security tooling. Proficiency with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms. Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell, and a solid understanding of network protocols and cloud security concepts. Excellent communication abilities to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.

Preferred Experience

Industry‑recognized certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly valued. Experience with cloud security architectures on AWS or Azure, including identity‑and‑access management and container security. Background in regulatory compliance, particularly GDPR, CCPA, and PCI‑DSS. Hands‑on work with security automation and orchestration (SOAR) platforms to streamline response workflows.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $58,000 – $78,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and certifications.
