About the Role

As an Information Security Analyst at our organization, you’ll be at the forefront of protecting our technological infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You’ll work collaboratively with our IT and engineering teams to ensure robust security measures are in place while maintaining seamless business operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security tools and technologies in a fully remote environment.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various security information and event management (SIEM) tools
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
• Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for security improvements
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
• Conduct security awareness training for employees across the organization
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation strategies

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-4 years of experience in information security or a similar cybersecurity role
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Understanding of common attack vectors and malware types
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are a plus

Salary Range
