About the Role

As a Remote Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing electrical construction projects across commercial and industrial sectors. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders while managing project budgets, timelines, and compliance requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end management of electrical construction projects from concept to completion
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and utility providers to ensure project success
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Ensure all work meets NEC codes, OSHA safety standards, and local regulations
• Conduct virtual site inspections and provide technical guidance to field teams
• Manage client relationships and provide regular project status updates
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality control standards
• Mentor junior project managers and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials highly desirable
• Valid electrical contractor license or willingness to obtain in your state
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IECC, and NFPA 70E standards

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction or utility project management
• Proven track record managing projects valued at $500K+
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or renewable energy projects
• Background in bidding, procurement, and contract management

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Procore, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead virtual teams and coordinate remote collaboration
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

$85,000 – $125,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
