As a Remote Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy AI models that power next‑generation products, all while collaborating with a global team from the comfort of your home. This role offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge projects that impact millions of users worldwide.

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Research, prototype, and productionize machine learning and deep learning models for applications such as natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to integrate AI solutions into scalable micro‑services and APIs.
  • Optimize model performance, latency, and resource utilization using techniques like quantization, pruning, and distributed training.
  • Maintain rigorous experimentation tracking, version control, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reproducibility and rapid iteration.
  • Stay current with the latest AI research, contribute to internal tech talks, and help shape the company’s AI strategy.

What You’ll Build

You will be instrumental in creating intelligent features that enhance user experiences—think smart recommendation engines, real‑time sentiment analysis tools, and autonomous decision‑making systems that operate reliably in production environments.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
  • Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods underlying machine learning.
  • Hands‑on experience with model deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, TF Serving, TorchServe) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, and feature stores.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices: version control (Git), code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience building and shipping ML models in a production setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects that meet business objectives, with measurable impact on performance or user engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within a distributed team.

Benefits

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 – $170,000 USD per year, complemented by annual performance bonuses and equity options.

  • Flexible hours with core collaboration windows to accommodate different time zones.
  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and wellness stipends.

Professional Growth

  • Access to a budget for conferences, courses, and certifications (e.g., Coursera, Udacity, NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute).
  • Mentorship program and regular tech talks with industry leaders.
  • Opportunities to publish research, contribute to open‑source projects, and present at internal innovation showcases.
