About the Role

As the primary estimator for our portfolio of residential and commercial projects, you will:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and quantity of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor bids.
• Maintain and update Estimating Software (e.g., WinEst, CostOS, or Sage Estimating) to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and owners to refine cost assumptions and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Produce comprehensive reports that support bid proposals, change orders, and project budgets.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for client and team interactions.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.

• Knowledge of cost databases (e.g., RSMeans, B2B2C, or local market rates).
