About the Role

As a Remote Substance Abuse Counselor, you will deliver high-quality, client-centered counseling services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Utilizing telehealth platforms, you will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements

**Education:** Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent licensure preferred).

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of direct experience providing substance abuse counseling, preferably in a clinical or community setting.

**Licensure:** Current, active, and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (LP).

**Skills:** Proven expertise in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing), strong assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication and active listening abilities, and proficiency with telehealth platforms.
