About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team of behavioral health professionals. This is a fully remote position that allows you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients who need your support.

As a Mental Health Counselor at our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing accessible mental health care to individuals seeking guidance, coping strategies, and emotional support. You’ll work with a diverse client base dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms
• Assess clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care
• Participate in weekly case consultations and ongoing professional development
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and connect clients with emergency resources

Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral health field
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapeutic services
• Current and unrestricted license to practice in at least one U.S. state

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Competitive Salary

$55,000 – $75,000 USD/year based on experience, licensure, and credentials.
