Salary Range

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Development

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Develop comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure all components are sourced for cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Thermal Analysis to validate design integrity before prototyping.
• Iterate designs based on testing feedback to improve product durability and performance.

Collaboration & Project Management

• Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are optimized for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
• Participate in virtual design reviews and present technical concepts to stakeholders via video conference.
• Maintain meticulous version control of all design files within our centralized PLM system.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical housings and electronic components.

Requirements

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics, aerospace, or consumer electronics industries.
• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA.
• Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
