About the Role

As a Remote Structural Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of multidisciplinary teams spread across North America, Europe, and Asia. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Preparing clear design reports, construction documents, and detailed shop drawings for client approval.
  • Ensuring compliance with the International Building Code (IBC), ASCE 7, and local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and conducting virtual design reviews.

Why This Is a Fully Remote Position

We have invested in a secure, cloud‑based engineering environment that lets you access project files, run simulations, and collaborate in real time from any high‑speed internet connection. No office lease, no daily commute—just the tools you need to deliver world‑class engineering solutions.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one within 12 months.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing commercial or institutional structures.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of IBC, ACI, AISC, and relevant international standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Extras

  • Experience with BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and cloud‑based coordination platforms.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
  • Background in seismic retrofitting or offshore structural design.

Benefits & Perks

  • Fully remote – work from any U.S. state or eligible overseas location.
  • Flexible schedule with core collaboration hours (10 am–4 pm EST).
  • Annual professional development stipend ($2,000) for courses, conferences, or certification fees.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
